Academy Success Stories
The cricketers below have been through the Academy System and are now professional cricketers playing First Class cricket
They have all played in their respective County first XI's
We have also produced a number of first class county, regional age group players and Academy players.
Josh Rymel
Josh has been training with the Palmer Cricket Academy for past 4 years and has just been given a 1 year professional contract with Essex.

Anuj Dal
Gary's most promising player yet. Gary says 'Watch this space'.
David Murphy
David Murphy scored 50 for Northants at Lords and played in a number of televised first team matches.
Josh Davey
Josh Davey has played in the Middlesex 1st team and scored his first 50 and has played for Scotland against England. Josh is Academy's first International player to date.
Benny Howell
Benny Howell was one of the initial players that joined the Academy in 2003. In 2007 he became the first of our players to be given a professional contract with a First Class County.
Alex Mellor
Alex Mellor was signed by Warwickshire on a one-year contract at the end of the 2015 season after promising form in the Second XI, his contract was subsequently extended.
