Junior Academy Programme & Costs
The Palmer Cricket Academy coaching programme aims to develop players who are recognised to have the potential to be successful at County & International level, and to bridge the gap between youth cricket programs within the minor counties and first class cricket. Gary Palmer feels that it is important to educate youngsters with the correct techniques of all the basic shots from an early age.
Applicants for The Academy should be at least School 'A' Team standard or currently playing for their County Age Group.
All group sizes will be up to a maximum of 6 players only and will be subject to any further Government restrictions that occur.
The new Academy format will focus totally on specialist batting sessions only. The sessions will be highly intensive and much more personal because we are now operating in smaller group sizes.
The Junior Academy program consists of 6 sessions per group.
The cost for the Full 2023/24 Palmer Cricket Junior Academy (6 Sessions Gold or Green Programme) will be £1,350.
If you would like to book for both Gold and Green programmes, the cost will be £2,600.
Junior Training Programme Structure
All sessions will be from 10.00am – 4.00pm at the Palmer Batting Lab, Worton Farm, just outside Oxford.
